Most Shopify stores add a monthly app for each small job on the product page or in the cart: a size chart, a buy button that follows the shopper down the page, a free-shipping bar. Each one is a fee, and usually a script of its own on every page. These pages take one job each and answer the same question — can the theme do it instead? Where Dawn or Horizon already can, the page says so first. Where it takes code, the code is there, and it has been run on a real store.
